Tyloplex 20% Injectable solution.

Composition Each 1 ml contains:

Tylosin tartrate 227.7 mg
(Equiv.to200 mg tylosin base)
Lidocaine HCL 10 mg 

 

Dose

I /M injection
Cattle, sheep, goats: 40-100 mg tylosine base / 10kg b.wt. once daily for 3-5 days ( eq. to 0.2- 0.5 ml of the product)

Indication

Tylosin is a macrolide acts against Respiratory Disease Complex (RDC) caused by Mycoplasma spp. and infections caused by g+ve organisms such as Staph , Strept and Corynebactrium
For cattle, calves, sheep, goat:

For the treatment of mycoplasmosis, respiratory and genitourinary infections. Tylosin is also effective in Pneumonia, Metriitis, Pneuomo-entritis, Leptospirosis, Foot rot, Calf diphtheria, wound infections and secondary infections during viral infections.

Withdrawal
Cattle, sheep: 14 days

Precautions
Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight
Don't use for lactating animals

Contraindication
Not used with other macrolides
Don't use in animals with sensitivity with it

Side Effects

No side effects were showed in recommended dose
Tylosin has a wide margin of safety
but edema of rectal mucosa may occur when used in high dose for long time
