Divamidin (W.S.P)

Composition Each 100 gm contains:

Sulphadimdin sodium 87.6 gm.
(Equiv .to 80 gm sulphadimidin base)
Diaverdine 2.5 gm.
Vit. K3 ( 3 gm ).

 

Dose

Oral route in drinking water.

Poultry, Turkeys, Rabbits: 1 gm  of the product / 1 liter of drinking water once daily for 3 successive days stop 2 days and continue the treatment for another 3 days.

Indications
It's used for chickens, turkeys, rabbits and small ruminants in the treatment of coccidiosis which caused by different type of Eimeria as : Eimeria tenella, Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria Acervulina, Emieria Maxima. Whether the coccidia is caecal or intestinal.

Precautions
Not to be given in large animals.
Not to be given in chickens producing eggs for human consumption.

Withdrawal periods
Calves & lambs: 10 days.
Poultry& turkeys & rabbits : 5days.

Contraindications

Not to be used in animals suffering from renal failure.
Should not be given with feed containing folic acid..

Side effects
No side effects.
Crystal urea, haematurea may occur in prolonged administration or high doses in acidic animals.

Storage conditions

Store at temperature not exceed 25 0C and to be used after reconistitution
within 24 hours .
