Amoxine 30% (W.S.P)

Composition Each gm contains:

Amoxicillin trihydrate 344.334 mg. (Eq.to 300 mg amoxicillin base)

 

Uses and Indications

Calves:
 Calf scour, Pneumonia, Septicemia due to Salmonella infections.
Poultry Turkeys:
 enteritis due to E.Coli , Salmonella, Clostridial infections.
The range of effect includes; Streptococci, not penicillinase producing Staphylococci, Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacteria spp, Brucella spp, Haemophilus spp, Pasteurella spp, Salmonella spp, Moraxella spp, E.Coli.

Dose
Oral route (via drinking water).
Poultry:
10 gm of the product / 150 kg b.wt in drinking water once daily for 3 – 5 days (1gm of the product /1.5 liter of drinking water)
Calves and lambs:
0.5 gm of the product / 15 kg b.wt in drinking water once daily for 3 – 5 days (1gm of the product /1.5 liter of drinking water). 

Withdrawal time
Meat producing Poultry : 10 days
Laying Poultry :7days

Contraindications

- Not used for treatment of infections caused by penicillinase producing Staphylococci. Do not administer to newly born animals little herbivorus, animals who are over sensitive to penicillin and animals with serious renal impairments.
- Not to be used in layers.

Storage conditions
Store in cool, dry and dark place and keep in well sealed containers at 250C
